Since I'm never really on here, I just saw the thing about Jack the Ripper, and I thought it was for December 23rd. I was a little confused, because "Sunday" and the "23rd" were not the same thing in December. But, I decided to give it the go ahead, because I had this great idea so that I could use some scratchboard I have. Now, the reason I wanted to use the scratchboard is because my uncle, who is a janitor, saw that his high school was throwing away a lot of scratchboard. A lot. I'm talking packets and packets of 50 sheets each scratchboard. He thought it would be nice to give them to me so that I could use them. ... I'm never going to use up all this scratchboard, but now I at least have used one piece. It didn't work how I expected, and I was really hoping it was the silver backed kind, but it wasn't. It was a little hard to control, very flakey, but I suppose that forced me to loosen up and not make the finished piece too tight. I've posted my original idea, the picture of my brother that I used for reference, and the scratchboard piece. I apologize that 19th century English Jack the Ripper is holding a katana... or whatever they're called. Also, since it appears I'm the only one who did it, I think I should get to pick the next theme.
